Our center offers a weekly Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC) social skills program for minimal verbal children ages 7 to adulthood with speech and language disorders who are using augmentative communication modes (e.g., communication devices such as Dynavox, Pro-Lo-Quo, etc.) as a primary means to communicate. Our program targets using AAC for social communication with peers and adults.  Specifically, increasing initiation of social communication. Our program is unique in that our classes are taught by a licensed SLPs who possess extensive knowledge about all aspects of communication.
